FAQ
If yours isn't here, email hello@nelvant.com — a person answers, usually the same day.
The report
A short report: gross profit per job type in dollars and percent, revenue share against profit share, your floor rate, defensible price ranges per job type, and the three changes worth making first — with the dollars attached. Delivered with a 45-minute walkthrough call.
Five working days from the moment we have your export and your six answers. If anything in your data pushes that out, we tell you as soon as we see it — and refund you if you'd rather not go ahead.
Every report is built and checked by an analyst — not generated and mailed. That's why we take a maximum of four a month.
Your data
Your job list — type, price, date, time taken if you have it — and six typed answers about your costs. A spreadsheet or a CSV out of your job software is fine. We don't need your accounts or payroll.
We've yet to see a set of records too messy to work with. If something's genuinely missing, we tell you what it means for the answer — and refund you if it can't be done.
It's used for your analysis only, stored privately, deleted on request, and never shared or sold. Full terms and privacy policy on request.
Pricing & refunds
The Profit Report is £500 / $650, one-off, paid by card when you order. Refunded in full if your numbers come back healthy. Live tracking launches at $99/month, with the £500 / $650 credited against year one for report customers.
If your numbers come back healthy, we refund it in full. Some firms are already pricing well — we'd rather say so and refund the £500 / $650 than dress up a problem you haven't got.
Not yet. Live tracking — your floor when you quote, contract repricing at renewal — is launching soon. Report customers get first access via the waitlist on the pricing section.
Fit
Best fit: a service firm with 3–20 staff, doing the same job types over and over, setting its own prices, keeping some sort of job record — however rough. The sample report walks through a finished one, section by section.
We'll be honest: there usually aren't enough comparable jobs in a one-person operation to find a reliable pattern. The report would cost you £500 / $650 to confirm what you already feel. Wait until you have a crew.
The method works for any firm with repeatable job types — plumbing, HVAC, electrical, pest control, landscaping, commercial cleaning, garage doors, locksmiths, appliance repair. What it needs is that the same kinds of work recur often enough to compare against each other. If you're unsure, email us your job list format and we'll tell you straight.
Still deciding? Walk through a finished one.
