01 / Send your job history
Send a spreadsheet, a CSV export from your job software, or the job list you already keep. Include job type, price and date, plus time taken where you have it. We review up to five years: the latest complete year anchors the job analysis, and earlier records show how trading has changed.
You’ll also answer six questions:
- What does a field employee cost, including wages and employer costs?
- What does a van or truck cost to run?
- What do you spend on materials?
- What are your fixed overheads?
- How many hours actually reach an invoice?
- Which jobs lead to free return visits?
Missing time records? Tell us. We explain what can be estimated, what can be concluded and where the uncertainty matters. If your records cannot support a useful audit, we refund you.
02 / We check the costs behind the work
We group your jobs, calculate the returns and examine the differences between revenue, profit and time. The calculations are reproducible; a human auditor makes and explains the cost-allocation decisions.
AI may help organise messy records. It does not decide overhead splits or perform the arithmetic. Estimates and assumptions are made visible so you can challenge them.
03 / Get the report. Talk it through.
Your report arrives in five working days after the necessary information is complete. It includes profit by job type, your hourly break-even rate, hidden cost leaks and prioritised actions.
A 45-minute walkthrough gives you time to ask questions and work out what to change first. We explain the changes in your numbers alongside relevant inflation, wage and material-cost indices.
