What you get
Twelve months of your jobs
Your last complete year, job by job. Not a sample and not a quarter — a year is the shortest window in which seasonal work and one-off jobs stop distorting the average.
Every figure traced to where it came from
Each number in the report is marked with its source: measured off your records, taken from an answer you gave, computed from the two, or a judgement we made. Judgements are listed in an appendix with what each one changes.
Reviewed by a person before it reaches you
The analysis is computed; the reading of it is not. Someone checks the document against your records, resolves anything the engine flagged as uncertain, and signs it off. No report is sent unreviewed.
Five working days
From the point we have your job export and your answers. If your records push that out, you hear it as soon as we see it, not on day five.
A walkthrough of the result
Forty-five minutes on a call, going through what it found and what it means for your prices. The person who built it is the person on the call.
There is no larger package and no smaller one. The work is the same whichever firm sends the records, so charging by firm size would be charging for something other than the work.
The guarantee
That is the whole rule. There is no restocking portion, no admin fee and no credit note — the £500 / $650 goes back to the card it came from.
What “nothing material” means. A material finding is one a reasonable owner would act on: a job type priced below what an hour of your capacity costs, a rate that has not moved while your costs have, an account paying materially under your own going rate, work that overruns often enough that the price should carry it. If the report cannot show you at least one of those, it has not earned the fee, and we refund it.
The judgement is ours to make and it goes the customer's way when it is close. “Material” is not a threshold in pounds, because the same figure means different things to a three-van firm and a twelve-van one — it is whether the finding would change what you do on Monday. A report that tells you your pricing is already sound is a useful thing to know and a bad thing to be charged for.
You do not have to argue for it. If you read the report and think it found nothing you would act on, reply to the email it came in and say so. We do not ask you to justify the decision, and we do not take the report back — it is yours either way, findings or no findings.
The refund, step by step
Questions
Because the work does not vary with the size of the firm. A twelve-month job history takes the same passes whether it holds four hundred jobs or four thousand: the same extraction, the same cost build-up, the same checks, the same human read at the end. Quoting per firm would price the customer, not the job.
A fixed price also removes the incentive we would least like to have. Nobody here benefits from your records being complicated.
The arithmetic is done by software — that is the only way every figure can be traced to a source and re-checked. What a person does is the part software cannot: read the finished document against your records, decide the questions the engine flagged rather than guessed at, and refuse to send it if something does not read true.
Concretely, a reviewer works through a checklist tied to your report, resolves every item the engine marked as needing a judgement, and signs it off by name. A report that fails its own checks does not reach you at all.
Reply to the email your report arrived in and say it found nothing you would act on. We refund the full £500 / $650 to the original card the same working day. Your bank usually takes another five to ten working days to show it.
There is no form and no review panel. We do not ask you to justify it and we do not withdraw the report.
Ready when you are.
